So the wed road ride is the super fast race ride...with over a 100 people its pretty scary. To give you an idea, we showed up to corner of pagemill rd where we pick up the ride and waiting at the corner is Dylan Casey retired USPS rider Chatting away with some other dude in a slipstream chiptole kit. The ride made its way over to us an they took off to the front. The pace picked up and It really hurt.
I started out in the middle of the pack, were doing about 20 uphill and 35 on the flats, I looked around and Roadie Joe and my friend Ryan were nowhere to be seen. I didnt change positon at all and i suddenly went from middle to end of the back. We lost over half of the group. I was pretty stoked to get back to work and give them some shit for getting dropped, but damn that was fast.

Yeah the derby is probably pretty similar, but with less trafic!

Man you missed a good one at French Creek yesterday! Hard. But fun. Real mountain biking man! Beans did a kick ass job with the race.
